Choose the correct RERA authority
- 1.1Use HARERA for Gurgaon and other Haryana projects.
- 1.2Use UP RERA for Noida, Greater Noida and most Uttar Pradesh projects.

- 1.4Match the project location first; do not rely only on the developer's marketing office address.
Match the exact project and phase
- 2.1Compare the RERA project name with the brochure name, tower name and township name.
- 2.2Check promoter name, project area, phase, tower coverage and registration validity.
- 2.3Ask for written mapping if the sales name differs from the RERA name.
- 2.4Confirm whether the unit being offered belongs to the same registered phase.
Read the disclosures before paying
- 3.1Check proposed completion date, uploaded approvals, quarterly progress and litigation disclosures where available.
- 3.2Compare sanctioned plan, unit size, amenities and possession timeline with the marketing material.
- 3.3Ask for price sheet, payment plan, extra-charge schedule and draft allotment format in writing.
- 3.4Keep receipts, emails and official documents together before making any booking payment.

Which RERA portal should I use for Delhi NCR property?

Is RERA registration enough to make a property safe?
No. RERA registration is a baseline check. Buyers should still verify construction progress, payment terms, unit allocation, extra charges, title documents and agreement terms.

Ask the developer or channel partner to map the marketing name to the exact RERA registration, phase and tower before paying any EOI or booking amount.
